Micro Matic
Instrument is a modern production company, which has been a major
manufacturer of electronic and temperature measurement products for over
40 years. In recent years our range has expanded to include drive
systems with associated control units, specifically for the control of
industrial doors and entrances.
This combination of
electronic and mechanical production enables the company to produce
advanced electronic, electromechanical and mechanical products of a
high level of quality in all three product areas.
Through tightly defining
what we do, knowledge and know-how have been built up in the three
product areas, and by concentrating on quality products, active market
positioning and a high development capacity, Micro Matic Instrument is
able to guarantee the ever-increasing requirements imposed on
subcontract partners now and in the future. Development and production
are subject to a quality control system, which complies with the
international standard ISO 9000/2000.
Measuring products
Our measuring
products comprise an extensive and detailed range of:
• Resistance thermometers, thermocouples including thermowells and
transmitters for registration oftemperatures ranging from - 200°C to
+2000°C
• Multi-spot thermometers for measuring of level temperatures in tank
systems
• Humidity sensors for registration of humidity in green-houses, cold
storage rooms, cargo holds etc
• Mechanical and electronic pressure sensors and pressure transmitters
for pressure ranges 1.2 mbar to 1,600 bar

• COg/Oa detectors for registration of gases.
These products are adapted
to suit each application, which means they are manufactured entirely
from stainless steel, approved by rated companies, or manufactured in
Ex-1.
These products are currently
marketed primarily to the oil and petro- chemical industries, the
refrigeration industry, the marine industry, gas/diesel engine
manufacturers, power plants, manufacturers of furnaces and boilers, and
the food and beverage industries.
It is our aim to continue to
improve our position in measuring products for those industries that
attach importance to highly accurate measurement of temperature and
pressure, high functional security and long product life in extreme
conditions.
Calibrations and
documentation, and all measurement results, are traceable to the
National Physical Laboratory in England (Na-mas).
Drive
systems
For the most
part, our drive systems are customised to suit each client, and consist
of:
• Gear motors with 50 and 75 Nm torque
• A range of electrical control units adapted for the individual
application
• Photoelectric cell automation for security monitoring

These products are marketed
primarily to manufacturers of doors, loading ramps and entrances, but
they can also be adapted for use with windows/glass faca- des,
roof/ventilation openings and sunlight protection.
Electronic
products
Our electronic
products cater for today's growing demands for convenient lighting and
energy-saving products. They comprise a broad range of:
• Photoelectric relays for automatic switching on and off of lights
according to light levels
• Light sensors, which gauge current light strength and convert it into
an electrical signal
• PIR detectors, in which detection of movement activates an alarm/door
chime or switches on the lights
• Light guards, which automatically switch off the lights when movement
is no longer detected
• Coin meters for controlling pre-paid consumption time for solariums,
washing machines, showers etc.
• Mechanical and electronic time switches for all kinds of time control
